Introducing you to Westwater Foil Co, the new name in Australian professional hairdressing foil bringing a fresh perspective to an everyday essential in the hair industry.
Founded by a colourist with over 23 years in the industry, Westwater leads with an artist-led perspective. Driven by creativity, individuality and a love of design, we approach each collection as an opportunity for artistic expression through original prints, one-off designs and creative collaborations with artists in and outside of the industry.

Every element of Westwater has been thoughtfully developed, tested and refined to deliver the highest possible performance in professional colour work:
Custom Embossing Engineering
More than 12 different embossing rollers were evaluated during development to achieve our signature embossing profile. The result is a distinctive, purpose-developed texture designed to improve grip, handling and control, creating a truly elevated embossing experience for the colourist.
Extensive Stylist Testing
Hundreds of trial sheets were distributed to working stylists, with real-world feedback collected and incorporated throughout our research and development process. Every refinement was informed by the colourists who use foil every day.
Lift & Lock Box Design
Our purpose-designed Lift & Lock dispensing system keeps foil accessible as the box empties. The internal tray elevates the remaining sheets, bringing them closer to the opening for easier access and consistent dispensing, right through to the final sheets. It locks in and never drops back down again.
Manufacturing & Batch Consistency
Strict manufacturing specifications and production agreements are in place with our manufacturing partners to maintain consistency across production runs, including foil quality, embossing, colours and finish.
Purposeful Product Development
From the embossing profile and foil handling to dispensing mechanics and packaging, every component has been considered and engineered to work together as a complete professional tool.
We’re now looking to establish relationships with selected Australian trade retailers and distributors who share our appreciation for quality professional products before we expand internationally.
