Founder
Westwater Foil Co is a premium design-led hairdressing foil company created by a colourist, for colourists who value presentation as much as uncompromising performance.
Every collection is designed and hand drawn by founder Katie Blyth, an experienced hairdresser of 23 years and the founder of the exclusive salon, Westwater Retreat.
Having worked behind the chair for over two decades, Katie understands the importance of quality salon supplies, refined aesthetics and tools that support precision colour work.

Built on an in-house aluminium composition engineered for better flex and strength.
Combined with our signature pearlescent finish, laid down through the printing process itself, it softens the foil so it feels better and more controllable in hair from the first fold.

Backed by real salon experience, stylists reported cleaner lifts, faster processing, greater flexibility while working in complex sections, improved moulding around the hair and a noticeably better feel in hand.
The Retreat is dedicated to every salon and stylist who gives their clients a moment to step away, a retreat from the demands of day to day life.
Threaded through the design: "The beauty you see in everything is a reflection of the beauty in you." As hairdressers, we shape not just how our clients look, but how they see themselves. That's a gift worth being proud of.
The Retreat is also an ode to our own Westwater Retreat Salon.
The atmosphere means clients return for more than their hair: it's the sense of belonging and familiarity when they walk through the door, in the same way every salon does in its own unique way.
The artwork illustrates two brolgas, a familiar presence at Westwater Retreat and part of the ritual for clients arriving at their appointments. The two figures represent my two daughters. Every element is hand illustrated, carrying the essence of our own Westwater Retreat into something tangible.
We dispatch same day for orders placed before 2pm AEST on business days, orders placed after 2pm dispatch the next business day. You'll get a tracking email once it's on its way.
